Update : Korban Meninggal Akibat Gempa Sumbar 704 orang PDF Cetak E-mail

Hingga Selasa (6/10) pukul 10.00 WIB Pusdalops BNPB melaporkan jumlah korban meninggal akibat gempa bumi berkekuatan 7,6 SR yang terjadi Rabu (30/09) pukul 17.16 WIB sebanyak 704 orang, terdapat penambahan korban meninggal yang telah terevakuasi di Kota Padang dari data sebelumnya sebanyak 79 orang, dengan demikian rincian korban meninggal hingga saat ini adalah: Kota Padang 327 orang, Kota Pariaman 37 orang, Kota Solok 3 orang, Kab. Padang Pariaman 292 orang, Kab. Pesisir Selatan 10 orang, Kab. Agam 32 orang dan Kab. Pasaman Barat 3 orang. Data tersebut diperoleh dari Satkorlak PB Prov. Sumbar tanggal 5 Oktober 2009 pukul 20.00 WIB.

Sementara itu korban hilang berjumlah 295 orang, meliputi Kab. Padang Pariaman 237 orang, Kab. Agam 54 orang dan Kota Padang 4 orang. Sejumlah 21 tim SAR yang berasal dari 19 negara telah mengkaji 31 titik reruntuhan bangunan di Kota Padang dan menyatakan sudah tidak ada tanda-tanda kehidupan.

Untuk itu, kegiatan rescue dialihkan ke sebelah timur, utara, selatan Kota Padang, seperti Kab. Padang Pariaman dan Kab. Agam, yang mana dilaporkan puluhan bahkan ratusan orang hilang atau masih tertimbun longsor pasca gempa. Sedangkan tenaga medis masih akan melanjutkan kegiatan pelayanan kesehatan bagi korban bencana.

Kerusakan terparah terjadi di kota Padang dan Kab. Padang Pariaman, baik kerusakan bangunan maupun kerusakan geologi dan longsoran, yang diakibatkan kedekatan lokasi dengan titik pusat gempa, faktor geologi, dan faktor konstruksi bangunan.

Saat ini data yang telah terkumpul dari Satkorlak PB Sumbar tanggal 6 Oktober 2009 pukul 12.00 WIB, tercatat rumah rusak berat sebanyak 102.653 unit, rusak sedang 48.967 unit, dan rusak ringan 44.606 unit. Selanjutnya fasilitas pendidikan yang rusak berat 1.253 unit, rusak sedang 919 dan rusak ringan 670 buah.
